Ghillie brogues are like any other type of footwear, in that they are available in many different qualities and values. The Ghillie design is unique in that it is made with no tongue, and it has long laces that start by twisting the laces four times, then pull tight to produce a vertical thong about one inch long. Wrap the laces around behind your ankle a couple of wraps, and tie at the outside with the remaining lace and toggle left to dangle.
